ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's cross-country team took 27th place at the 32nd Annual University of Minnesota Griak Invitational on Saturday, September 23 in St. Paul, Minn.

At his invitational, three different collegiate races ran during the morning in hot and humid conditions in St. Paul.  The team raced in the Division II race which consisted of many top schools in the country not affiliated with NCAA Division I colleges. The extreme heat conditions on Saturday caused the tournament officials to combine the Division II and III races which brought the total of teams in the one race to about 47 teams and over 441 total runners in the race.
